1989 Buick Reatta. Very nice condition inside and out. Fewer than 64,000 miles. I purchased this vehicle three years ago, and have driven it very little. It has been garaged most of its life, which shows in the condition. Vehicle has been driven only by adult drivers. Clear Florida title. Hard to find vehicles in this price category that are not trashed. Timeless beauty. This Reatta has a very sporty appearance that has maintained its appeal even after 20+ years. Very well maintained, inside and out. Great history of preventive maintenance. Runs great, drives and handles like a new luxury vehicle. This is a luxury car, with a luxury car ride. AC blows cold. Tires are in good condition. Good paint and body (appears to have been repainted, and they did a good job.) A couple small chips could use touch up. No visible rust on the exterior. Beautiful burgundy leather interior. No rips or tears. Not new, but does not show its true age. Original carpeting is in very nice condition. Area behind seats, with two additional locking storage compartments, is in excellent condition. Has pass-through to the trunk. Engine is strong, and has no unusual noises. Vehicle has automatic transmission, and shifts very smoothly. Everything on the digital dash and control center works. Trunk appears to be used very little. No serious stains on trunk liner, but very minor (surface-only) rust around the edge of the drip rail under the trunk lid. Power trunk and fuel fill releases are in the glove box, and both work correctly. Has power windows, seats, and mirrors. Headlamps and fog lamps work as they should. Intermittent wipers. The 3.8 Liter (3800) engine is a GM workhorse. It provides excellent power to this two-seater, and great reliability. Following are the issues of which I am aware. Electronic control center indicates that the cruise control has been disabled. Not a big deal to me, as I drove it primarily in town. The anti-lock brake light is on. I was told that the problem is a control module. It does not affect the braking of the vehicle. Hard to see in the pictures, but there are a couple dings in the hood, where a branch appears to have landed. Both power window motors need to be replaced. They started making noise within weeks of each other, but with summer in Florida, where I don't roll down windows, it has not been a priority. The vehicle is visiting my friend's used car lot. Just last week, I learned that the blower motor is making a bit of a growling noise. It's still blowing nicely, but will probably need to be replaced in the near future. I do not trust the cassette tape player. The radio has a crackle in the speakers. I assume that a couple speakers will probably need to be replaced. Small chip in dash (1/4" to 1/2") can be seen only through the windshield. My intent is full disclosure, to the best of my ability. Having said that, I am neither an auto mechanic, nor an expert on Buick Reattas. I have, however, become a fan. The only reason I'm selling this vehicle is that my girls talked me into purchasing a convertible. We now have four vehicles, and only two drivers. I simply have to reduce my inventory (and there's not room in the garage.) I welcome your inspection, or an inspection by a mechanic of your choice. This vehicle is worth every penny of its price (original MSRP was about $27,000.) But remember, it is about 22 years old. While it is not perfect, it is a reliable daily driver.
