1962 Chevrolet C10 Dry Colorado Vehicle Custom resto Exterior: Professional repaint using Sherwin Williams auto in "Amber" Color looks like a penny! Dry vehicle with very little body work needed. All glass in perfect condition All panels original All lighting works. Bumpers straight and original. Rear bumper has tralier ball. Bed is a wood bed, not the original wood. Looks like barn wood and has a very vintage feel. Tailgate and bed sides nearly perfect. Obvious that this truck was never really used for hauling Door hinges are tight with no sag All body panels line up properly. Original grill Interior: All gauges work with the exception of the speedometer, needs a new cable All lights work including gauge lights Has CD player, although it is not currently hooked up All windows, locks, and door handles work as they should New jute pad and carpet Steering column bushing replaced Seat was re-done at some point but could use another re-do in a color more appropriate for the truck. Presently a denim blue with small rip on driver seat at the stitching. Glove box still has original liner All switches work including the choke, windshield wipers, lights, etc. Heater works great. Interior was painted to match the exterior, so the same theme is carried throughout. Original steering wheel and horn cap Mechanical: Original motor, 283 V8. Runs great Original 3 speed on the column transmission. Shifts perfect, runs quiet and smooth. Truck was lowered 4 1/2 inches in the front and rear. New springs added in the rear New shocks in the front as well as coil perch bushings Steering and suspension are tight Rare late model year 62 so this truck has factory coils in the front instead of the typical torsion bars in the front. Very rare find! Truck sits on Coker smoothy wheels with the bullet center caps. Also has wide white Coker 7.5x15's. Tires and rims are like new condition, 300 miles or so. Brakes work perfect, all factory drum Emergency brake needs a cable Turn signals need a relay inside on the fuse panel, I will probably get to this before the sale. All other exterior lights work perfectly. Mechanically truck is very sound I wouldnt hessitate to drive it daily. Included the original keys and a repro owners manual. This is a very nice example of the 62 C10, with the added benefit of that coil spring front suspension. I have has a great time driving this around and consistantly get compliments on its color, stance, and overall appearence.
