1962 M38A1 Willys Military Jeep runs good! USMC Parade Ready Last of the series production to be used in Vietnam. USMC vehicle, now California Title and Street Licensed and Legal. Smog exempt per original equipment. Not an Army Jeep. This is a Marine Corps Jeep built to USMC specs used by the USMC. Never cut. 99% rust free. Was released from Camp Pendelton, CA. Runs, starts, steers and stops absolutely great. Purrs like a Marine Kitten! USMC Flat Green non gloss non glare Tie Down Loops for amphibious, air, or truck transport Fording Kit snorkel, exhaust and waterproof ignition, etc. Back Seat Radio Antenna Carb has original tags Full O.D. Canvas Top, Canvas Doors and Side Curtains included but not pictured Convoy Lights Original 24Volt System Spare Tire, Gas Can, Military Repair Manual Hand wiper+ vacuum Pintle Hook and Mil Trailer plug Mil Repair Manual 49 mph top speed Data plates intact Stenciled to match original issue Never cut I believe this has the USMC spec traction control device on rear diff. Not sure here. Lots of new parts including: 2 new tires, regulator, Gas tank recently dipped and coated Extra waterproof spark plugs, points, condenser. As nice as this one looks, the hood and cowl paint has checking, and the top, doors and side curtains are warn. Speedo not working well. The only non military items on this are Warn hubs (for towing), seat belts, driver mirror (some military used it) a hidden ignition key switch, and a hidden Cole Hersee Battery shutoff switch. Included is both the military dual action fuel pump, and a concealed electric one. (I installed the electric pump because it often sits between parades and outings). Much work has been done including steering box rebuild, gas tank renewal, carb, starter solenoid, regulator, water pump, tune up and maintenance. This is fine for a daily driver. Real militaria This one is ready for battle or for parades. A Head turner wherever it goes!
