We purchased this car from a 79-year-old man who got the car from his neighbor who died who got the car from actress Janet Lord because it was her brother’s car who had died. The car came from Tennessee, and brand-new it came from Texas. The car is an original survivor. Inside is 100% original mechanical and 100% original paint. The 79-year-old and son tried to touch up faded spots on the trunk lid. There is some fade on right rear quarter panel near the top only and a little on back roof. You could do a little paint work and keep the rest of original paint without touching the rest of this car up. That is what makes it a survivor. You can bring back the original car, not restore a rust bucket shot interior or mechanical changes, or radios cut or big holes and cracks in dash. Look at this interior; it is beautiful with the original mats in the trunk. The tires are good, so are the brakes. The car drives straight shifts well could use a tune up but you can still drive this car anywhere. The car drives at any speed, no shakes, as if you are driving on air. The things bad that are easy to fix are as follows: exhaust leak, air needs charge, windshield has some cracks and needs to be replaced. The four windows work, the heat works and the lights work. The clean-up shop said it is solid and could easily bring the car to beautiful shape. I just want to sell it to a buyer that appreciates a nice car that wants to bring it to the classic car state that it should be. By the way, the driver's power seat does not move but the electric motor is running, but not connecting to the movement of the gears.
