Up for auction is a 1977 pontiac trans am black and gold edition with a pontiac 400 engine backed by a 4 speed transmission. The car has t-tops with a shaker hood scoop and still has the original numbers matching engine that does run and drive. The car has new tires and the previous owner installed a new heater core and hoses along with a new glue on type dash cap and replaced all of the dash lights the car needs a total restoration. Included in the sale is new upper door panels sill plates newer carpet and console seat covers that need to be installed correctly along with a new package tray and filler which has minor water damage. The car is a perfect platform for a full restoration as I stated earlier it does run it needs a carb adjustment or better fuel but does not smoke or have any strange sounds the clutch also feels good and goes through the gears with out any noises but the brakes have to be looked at before driving the car because the brake light is on. The car needs to be towed but can load on to a trailer under its own power with out a problem. The previous owner patched the floors and the trunk which I think the floors should be redone the trunks pretty solid and needs at least lower quarters and a left inner fender well. I took several pictures of the car this is a restoration project and should be considered as one the car is sold as is and is available to be viewed in Egg Harbor Township New Jersey 08234 by appointment. I have the right to end the auction early because the car is also for sale locally and bidders are encouraged to come look at the car. I just aquired the car it does still have the air conditioning components in tact and as far as I can tell I would say its about 95% complete the parts that I know are missing include but not limited to are the headliner, shifter cover for the console, rear ashtrays, the wheel flares, trunk lock, outer door handle is broken. The car IS SOLD AS IS !!!!!!!!!! It is a very desirable car the same car that was used in the smokey and the bandit and deserves a good restoration the car does have the potential to be a high dollar car once restored I have described the car to the best of my abilities please feel free to ask questions I will do my best to answer them.
