For NO RESERVE auction is my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have owned this jeep since 2006. There are both very good things and some not so good about this Jeep. I will try my very best to describe it extremely accurately as I value my 100% positive rating here and will not endanger it. The good…. The engine runs very good and is very smooth. The body on this Jeep is in very good condition, especially for a 1999. The interior is also in very good condition. There are no rips or tears in any of the seats or carpet. It has a Curt hitch on it. The air conditioning blows cold air. The tires are good. The 2 back tires are brand new. The front brakes were redone about 200 miles ago. Electric windows and lights all work fine. The seat heaters also still work. The not so good… The radio works, but there seems to be only 1 side that the speakers work. Also, the steering wheel controls for the sound do not work. I have noticed that if you drive with the cruise control on for an extended period that when you kick it off, the check engine light comes on and the transmission doesn’t shift exactly right for a while. The front suspension just seems a bit loose. The fan for the air and heat will kick off intermittently. If you wiggle the wires under the dash, it will come back on. I have talked to people that have this same model, it’s a common problem. Gas mileage is very bad… Highway gets about 17. The back tailgate door will not lock, although, if you lock it with the key fob, the alarm will go off if you open it. As I said before, I wanted to describe this Jeep very accurately.
