For sale is a 1979 Euro spec (Germany) BMW 635 csi. I bought this car with the full intent to convert it into a vintage race car. Professional and personal responsibilities make me realistically understand that this is never going to happen. I have many cars and bikes and projects so this car is just sitting here in a rental storage unit. The car is unique as it is a euro model. The 3.5 six is a short stroke engine unlike the longer stroke USA models. It also has the “dogleg” five speed manual trans unlike the USA models. The car has been converted to USA speedo etc but retains all other german language gauges etc. The electric windows and sunroof work well. The right front head light low beam doesn’t worl…could be bulb or relay. Hasn’t been a priority as I was going to make it a racer. The engine doesn’t leak oil nor burn any visibly. Transmission and clutch work great and shifts smooth. Interior leather is excellent with back seats being almost pristine. Rust is minimal and surface only. No rust in towers or floor boards. Transmission, engine and original Alpina wheels are likely worth more parted out than what I will accept for this car. It has a clear title so street legal. Great candidate for restoration or just drive as is, and of course would make neat vintage racer. Email with any questions.
