1974 PONTIAC GTO - PROJECT (Last year for GTO and based on Nova body) Lets start with the rolling body, *rear tail light panel replaced *both lower rear quarter panels replaced (wheel wells) *both outer wheel houses replaced There is no other rust damage with the exception of the drivers floor feels soft. All brakes were replaced starting with the master cylinder, brake booster, front brake hoses, dust shields, rotors, wheel bearings, seals, calipers, Rear- new linings, spring kits wheel cylinders axle bearings and seals. It was at this point I attemptedto bleeed the brakes only to have one of the rear hard lines explode. I have a complete brake line set from In-Line Tube, new in the box ready to install. The differential is a GM 10 bolt housing with Moser axles, new 3:73 gears and new posi all new bearings and seals. In fact I have not yet added the lube to the rear end. I have a T200R4 (overdrive) trans out of my 1987 Monte Carlo SS it is a working trans but I planned to have it redone due to it having 97,000 miles on it, prior to install. The engine is a numbers matching Pontiac 350 cubic inch the engine was bored, honed, hot tanked all new bearings, pistons, rings, freeze plugs, a Comp cam, Heads were ported and polished, neopreme rear main seal installed A blue printed numbers matching Q jet, a new HEI dist, and a set of Ram Air cast exhaust headers. PARTS: New fuel tank new fuel tank loat/sender and pickup asm complete brake line kit front and rear over sized sway bars new new rear leaf springs new leaf spring install kit. The headliner is in great shape, I have the rear seat, and the front seats are pictured. However the rear door panels and the plastic around the rear window as well as the plastic on the backs of the front bucket seats are so sun cooked it just crumbles. I have most of these pieces from a Nova and they are in good shape but they are black. I would have never redone the interior in white!
