THIS CAR IS A PROJECT AND IS NOT ROADWORTHY. IT WILL NEED TO BE TOWED OR TRANSPORTED. RUNS AND DRIVES BUT IS NOT A DRIVER. YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1963 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE HARDTOP. ORIGINAL 340 HP 327 4-SPEED. 'RIVERSIDE RED' WITH BLACK INTERIOR NOW PAINTED BROWN. THIS CAR WAS PROBABLY HOTRODDED IN THE LATE '60'S/EARLY 70'S - LOTS OF PERIOD CORRECT WORK AND PARTS. THIS CAR STILL RETAINS THE ORIGINAL ENGINE BLOCK (PART # 3782870) I HAVE TAKEN A PICTURE OF THE DATE AND CASTING NUMBER.THE ENGINE IS REPORTED TO BE FRESH WITH LESS THAN 1 MILE ON REBUILD ALTHOUGH IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS DONE SOME TIME AGO. THE BLOCK WAS DECKED AND THE PAD IS CLEAN. THE VALVE COVERS APPEAR TO BE CORRECT, IT DOES HAVE THE FACTORY HIGH PERFORMANCE 6-QUART OIL PAN WITH THE TRAP DOOR AND WHAT LOOKS TO BE THE CORRECT TIMING COVER. OTHER PARTS SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: INTAKE, CARB & IGNITION HAVE BEEN CHANGED. THE TRANSMISSION IS A 'MUNCIE' 4-SPEED I BELIEVE FROM A '66 CORVETTE. THE CAR STARTS AND STOPS BUT HAS NO REAL EXHAUST SYSTEM (OPEN HEADERS) AND WILL NEED SOME TUNING BEFORE IT IS ROADWORTHY. THE EMERGENCY BRAKE HARDWARE IS INTACT AND SEEMS TO WORK FINE. THE BODY HAS SMALL FLARES AS YOU CAN SEE, THEY HAVE BEEN APPLIED TO ORIGINAL FENDERS AND QUARTERS. THE ORIGINAL HEADLIGHT DOORS (FIBREGLASS, '63 ONLY) ARE INTACT. IT LOOKS TO BE THE ORIGINAL NOSE AND REAR BODY SECTION. I BELIEVE THE CAR HAS ALL IT'S ORIGINAL BODY PANELS OTHER THAN WHAT HAS BEEN MODIFIED WITH THE FLARES. IT APPEARS THAT ALL THE WORK ON THE BODY WAS DONE A VERY LONG TIME AGO AND THE CAR NEEDS PAINT. THE WHEELS ON THE CAR ARE VINTAGE 'ANSEN' SPRINTS WITH A VERY NICE MATCHING SET OF RADIAL T/A TIRES WITH VERY FEW MILES AND IN GOOD SHAPE. THE INTERIOR WILL NEED TO BE DONE BUT APPEARS TO BE SOMEWHAT INTACT. 1963 'WONDERBAR' RADIO IS THERE ALONG WITH THE CLOCK, THE ORIGINAL GAUGES SHOWN IN THE BOX ARE INCLUDED, THEY HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND OLD SCHOOL SUN INSTRUMENTS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IN THE STOCK BEZEL. DOOR PANELS ARE ORIGINAL AND DRIVER QUALITY, IT APPEARS THE ORIGINAL SEATS HAVE BEEN RE-COVERED ONCE. THE FRAME IS ROCK-SOLID WITH NO RUST OR SCALE AT ALL. THE FRONT SUSPENSION IS DECENT AND LOOKS ORIGINAL TO THE CAR. THE REAR SUSPENSION RETAINS WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE ORIGINAL TRAILING ARMS AND THEY LOOK OK (SOLID) IT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS NEWER U-JOINTS ALL AROUND. THIS CAR HAS A HARDTOP ONLY, THERE IS NO SOFT TOP INCLUDED.
