Vehicle Detail

Calling all motor heads. Got plans for the winter months? If you’re looking for a worth while project to undertake this winter, we have just the ride for you. It’s like a life size Monogram kit you would have built as a kid. All the parts are here, but they have to be assembled and all the gluing stuff has already been done by someone else who knew what he was doing and the best part is that it is a legendary Corvette. I read somewhere there were a little over forty-six thousand Corvette coupes produced in 1976, with tons of variations due to the options availability and probably no two survivors are truly alike. Here you have the opportunity to build one to your own specifications and do it at a really low cost. Sure, it’s another restoration project that was left unfinished, but the intentions of the owner were well meaning, it’s just life gave him more curve balls then he could handle at the time. Parts were purchased, good parts, top shelf parts, but fruition was never realized and the project was abandoned and has been garaged since 1988. If you have the ability and the desire, this is a great opportunity and maybe a once in a lifetime chance to own a piece of American muscle. For starters, this is a numbers matching car with its original 350 CI V-8 and automatic transmission both rebuilt in the late eighties, VIN # 1Z37L6S428462. Options here are power windows, brakes, steering, rear window defroster, air and tilt telescoping wheel. Car was originally white with red interior. Included in the auction are new interior parts (leather seats, one bottom cover missing), door panels, various trim, carpeting, new front and rear suspension, new brakes, rotors and calipers and lots of additional quality new parts. A ton of money has been invested here, but the interest and the fire from the owner are gone. As I said in my opening, it’s like a full size model car kit, let’s call it The Sleeping Spirit of Seventy Six, build it and finish it your way for a fraction of the cost of a completed model. Call 215-962-1384 for additional information or to make an appointment to view. Car is not running and winner will have to arrange for transport.
