This Charger is a two owner Texas car and was ordered from the factory by a doctor when it was new. It was then purchased by the second owners in 1975, and has been in the family ever since. MOLDINGS: 25: Drip Rail Mouldings 30: Body Belt Moldings ABC OPTIONS: A1: 26in Radiator H1: Power Brakes P6: Rear Seat Speaker R0: AM 8-Track Radio S1: Air Conditioning X1: Tinted Glass (all) Y6: Black Vinyl Top abc OPTIONS: a6: Console b4: Bucket Seats h7: Fender or Hood Mounted Turn Signal Indicators m6: Driver's Outside Remote Operated Mirroru1: Sold Car When Built (Somebody Ordered It) This Charger is a matching numbers car and has the original 318 that it came with from the factory. The motor was rebuilt once about 20,000 miles ago. This car is in outstanding shape for being mostly original! The only thing that isn’t factory on this car is the paint. It has been repainted once in its lifetime, but kept the original color. All of the interior and drive train has been untouched! The body is very straight and has only a tiny bit of bubbling under the vinyl top. The car has no rust anywhere else on the body or chassis. All of the floors pans, trunk area, fenders, and undercarriage are all solid and RUST FREE. This car is unusually clean for it's age. Again this car is a great and rare example of an original, unmolested charger. The Charger was parked about 15 years ago in a dry Texas barn at the owner’s lake house and was just recently brought back to being road worthy again. The entire car has been gone through and correctly sorted. The car starts at the first turn of the key and runs like a top. Everything works just as it should: engine is very strong and powerful, the automatic transmission shifts very smoothly, radio works great, and A/C blows cold (Filled with R-12 still). It starts every time and drives straight and smoothly down the highway. While it isn’t a factory Hemi Charger it still is strong car and is a lot of fun to drive. It puts a smile on my face every time I see or drive the car. The car gets a lot of looks and attention! In an effort to be completely honest in the ad I am not trying to advertise this car as a “perfect” Charger. It is what would be considered a “10 Footer”. The Charger does have a few little dings and knicks, but it is very minimal. I feel it is better to sell this car based on its originality rather than trying to restore the car to fix minor blemishes. It is more intriguing to me to know the car is original rather than having been “restored”.In addition the car has accurate mileage of just 99k miles. I have the original set of keys to the car as well. The front headlights do work! The dome, center console, and dash lights all function correctly as well.
