Up for sale is my 1972 Volkswagen (Standard) Beetle, 1600 cc engine, 4-speed manual transmission, 70,115 original miles, original exterior factory color of white w/blue interior. The car is overall in outstanding condition. The exterior has had one professional repaint and it looks beautiful with very few minor blemishes (most of which are not noticeable at all). Originally a western US car with no rust. The door jambs and the interior painted areas look great with most still being original factory paint. The interior has been replaced including the seats, door panels, headliner and carpet and looks gorgeous. Under the hood and in the engine compartment also look great. The car has always been well maintained and garaged by what I was told to be 2 previous owners and then myself. The car looks great and gets many compliments everywhere it goes. The mechanics of the car are in excellent condition with low miles. It runs and drives nice and strong. Engine starts up easily, quiet, shifts and drives great. The underside of the car (floors and rails) are super solid and super clean and all original with no signs of patching due to rust or rot issues. Exhaust including heater boxes and brakes are in good condition and the tires are new. Chrome and stainless are in good condition overall. Absolutely no disappointments with this car!! IMPORTANT ...
