1971 MGB GT chrome bumpers with overdrive RESTORED This MGB GT is such a fun car to drive that everyone should have the chance to own one. Includes collectible options of overdrive transmission and chrome bumpers. The previous owner completed the engine and other restoration work. It revs-up real nice. Included with the car are all receipts, pictures, and documentation from the restoration. The engine bay looks great. I have maintained the car well and have accepted all recommended work. The car recently passed Pennsylvania state inspection and is good until May 2012. Most recent work includes king pins, tie rod boots, hubs, alignment, calipers, brake hoses, rotors, brake pads and brake adjuster totaling $2419.00. The carbs and idle were adjusted but I think additional adjustment is needed with the choke. The battery is also new. Overall I think this car is 8 or 8.5 out of 10. There is some surface rust near the front driver and passenger side rockers. I took a close-up picture of this area. There is a mark on the tunnel carpet left from the heat of a shop light, also pictured. The rear hatch key/button does not work. It did not bother me because the hatch can be opened from the inside. Paintwork is imperfect in some locations up-close but shines up real nice. This MGB is titled with Pennsylvania classic tags. Title shows actual mileage as 66,593 and odometer reads 67,005. It kills me to sell this car.
