THE CAR WAS PURCHASED NEW FROM ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS FROM PACIFICO FORD IN ARDMORE PA. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER. THE OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT THAT CAME WITH THE CAR ARE: ANTITHEFT SYSTEM, ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM, MACH 460 SOUND SYSTEM, DUAL ILLUMINATED VISOR MIRRORS, LEATHER SEATS, AND CONVENIENCE GROUP (FRONT FLOOR MATS, CRUISE CONTROL, REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER). I PURCHASED THE CAR CHRISTMAS WEEK LAST YEAR AND THE ODOMETER (AND TITLE) READ 23,010. THIS CAR HAS BEEN GARAGED KEPT AND WAS A SECOND/THIRD CAR FOR BOTH MYSELF AND MY FRIEND AS OWNERS. WE BOTH HAD MULTIPLE MUSTANGS GROWING UP AND WE ARE NOW INTO OUR 30'S SO WITH FAMILY COMMITMENTS AS WELL AS PURCHASING HOMES IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON. I'M SURE SOME ONE WILL ASK: THE CAR WAS NEVER RAN AT THE TRACK SO I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT WILL RUN IN THE QUARTER MILE. THE CAR HAS EXTREMELY LOW MILES AND TONS OF MONEY INTO IT. ALL WORK WAS DONE BY MECHANICS/SPEED SHOPS IN PENNSYLVANIA. PATRIOT STAGE 2 HEADS, COMP STAGE 2 CAMS, ACCUFAB 75 MM THROTTLE BODY AND UPPER INTAKE PLENUM, BBK LONG TUBE HEADERS AND OFF ROAD X PIPE, 3.73 REAR, ALUMINUM DRIVE SHAFT, AND BBK CHROME VALVE COVERS WERE INSTALLED IN SUMMER 2007. THAT WAS THE LAST ROUND OF MODIFICATIONS DONE TO THE CAR, AT THIS TIME A SCT X3 HANDHELD TUNER WAS PURCHASED AND THE CAR WAS DYNOTUNED BY A SPEED SHOP IN CHESTER COUNTY PA. I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT THE NUMBERS WERE BUT I THINK IT WAS 325 HP AT THE ENGINE. AGAIN I CANNOT CONFIRM THIS AS THE DYNO SHEETS HAVE BEEN MISPLACED. THE TUNE IS STILL ON THE CAR, SAVED ON THE TUNER, AND THE TUNER WILL GO WITH THE CAR. CURRENTLY THE CAR HAS NO CATALYTIC CONVERTERS ON IT. BUT I HAVE THE ORIGINAL CATALYTIC CONVERTER MID PIPE THAT CAME WITH THE CAR. IT IS ALMOST BRAND NEW AS ANOTHER OFF ROAD H-PIPE IN MY POSSESSION WAS INSTALLED ON THE CAR SOON AFTER PURCHASE IN 1998. THIS OTHER H-PIPE CAN GO WITH THE CAR AS WELL. ALSO THE ORIGINAL HEADS/HEADERS, DRIVESHAFT, CAMS, AND THROTTLE BODY/INTAKE PLENUM CAN GO IF THE CAR SELLS. A SET OF AUTOMETER GUAGES AND GAUGE POD WAS INSTALLED AT THIS TIME AT THE SPEED SHOP WHICH CONSIST OF (Autometer 7127 oil pressure gauge - electrical, Autometer 7137 water tempature gauge - electrical, Autometer 7103 vacuum/boost guage - mechanical, WITH Autometer 12121 triple guage pod). MY FRIEND CHANGED OUT THE SALEEN WHEELS THAT WERE ON THE CAR FOR THE WHEELS THAT ARE CURRENTLY ON THE CAR TODAY: FALKEN KOBLENZ BLACK WITH CHROME LIP 18 X 8. THE TIRES ON THE CAR NOW ARE KUMHO ECSTA SUMMER TIRES 245-40-18. 3 ARE THE SAME BUT I HAD TO REPLACE ONE DUE TO A POTHOLE. THE 3 TIRES ONLY HAVE A FEW THOUSAND MILES ON THEM, AND THE 4TH ABOUT ONE THOUSAND. THERE ARE A TON OF OTHER THINGS DONE TO THE CAR. CONTINUING WITH THE TIMELINE OF THE CAR AS I REMEMBER IT: THE FIRST THING DONE WAS EIBACH SPRINGS AND TOKICO FRONT AND REAR SHOCKS WERE INSTALLED ON THE CAR IN DECEMBER 1998. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL SPRINGS/SHOCKS/STRUTS WHICH ARE LIKE NEW, PROBABLY A COUPLE THOUSAND MILES ON THEM. THE CAR HAD SUB FRAME CONNECTERS WELDED IN AFTER THAT AND A 5.0 SHIFTER INSTALLED. AFTER THAT A BBK COLD AIR INTAKE WAS INSTALLED. FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS WERE WELDED INTO THE STOCK CAT BACK, IT IS LIKE THAT TODAY. THE SALEEN BODY KIT AND CERVINIS COBRA R HOOD WERE INSTALLED AFTER THAT. THE ORIGINAL SPOILER MY FRIEND PUT ON WAS THE SALEEN DOUBLE STACK SPOILER. I HAVE THIS BUT IT IS NOT ON THE CAR AS IT DIDN'T FIT MY TASTE. I PURCHASED A KAENAN S281 SPOILER AND IT IS INSTALLED ON THE CAR NOW. WHITE FACE GUAGES WERE INSTALLED FOR THE CLUSTER AND HVAC CONTROLS. WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR THIS PAST DECEMBER I PUT A NEW BATTERY IN IT, OPTIMA RED TOP. THE CAR HAD HALO LIGHTS ON IT BUT I COULDN'T STAND THEM AND BOUGHT SOME COBRA STYLE HEADLIGHTS AND SYLVANIA SILVERSTAR BULBS FROM AMERICAN MUSCLE. I ALSO INSTALLED AN ALPINE CDE-103BT RADIO WITH BLUETOOTH. THE CAR DOES HAVE SOME SCRATCHES ON IT AND A SMALL PAINT CHIP ON THE HOOD. IT WAS ORIGINALLY PURCHASED NEW IN NOVEMBER 1997 AND IS 14 YEARS OLD. THE CAR CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH A 3.27 REAR. TWO KNOWN PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR IS 1, IT WAS TUNED IN THE WINTER AND AT IDLE IF YOU PUT THE AIR ON THE CAR WILL STALL IF YOU ARE AT A STOP. IF YOU ARE DRIVING THE CAR AND PUT THE A/C ON IT WILL BLOW COLD AIR FINE. I HAVEN'T LOOKED INTO IT YET BECAUSE THE MUSTANG ISN'T DRIVEN MUCH, BUT I'M GUESSING IT'S THE IDLE AIR CONTROLLER. THE SECOND PROBLEM IS THAT IN MAY THE SPEEDOMETER STARTED ACTING FUNNY. SO I CHANGED THE WHITE 3.73 23 TOOTH GEAR IN THE TRANS TO A 18 TOOTH STOCK ONE FOR A 2.73 REAR END AND PURCHASED A SPEED CAL BUT THIS DIDN'T CORRECT THE PROBLEM. I TOOK THE ODOMETER APART AND THE ODOMETER GEAR LOOKED FINE TO ME. SO IT COULD BE THE VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR, CABLE, OR SOMETHING ELSE. I'M NOT SURE AND DON'T HAVE THE TIME AND DON'T WANT TO PAY SOMEONE TO FIX IT. SO PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE TWO ISSUES PRIOR TO BIDDING. OTHER THAN THAT THE CAR DRIVES GREAT, SHIFTS SMOOTH, AND SOUNDS GOOD. IF THE CAR SELLS GREAT, IF IT DOESN'T AND I HAVE TO KEEP IT I WON'T BE UPSET. WHETHER I SELL IT NOW OR IN A FEW YEARS I'M OK WITH EITHER WAY. HOPEFULLY ANOTHER MUSTANG ENTHUSIAST WILL GET TO ENJOY THIS FOR YEARS TO COME. I'M SURE I'M FORGETTING A LOT OF THINGS ABOUT THE CAR. I TRIED TO TAKE PICS FROM EVERY ANGLE TODAY. THE CAR IS PRETTY LOW SO I DIDN'T GET ANY UNDER CARRIAGE PICS. THERE ARE TONS OF DRESS UP PARTS ON THE CAR AMONGST OTHER THINGS. THE MILEAGE MIGHT BE SLIGHTLY HIGHER (POSSIBLY A FEW HUNDRED) AS I STILL DRIVE THE CAR. I'M NOT INTERESTED IN ANY TRADES!
