This vehicle has been used sparingly in the last 10 years. When I bought it, it overheated due to a bad thermostadt, so I replaced the motor with a professionally rebuilt long block (the whole motor except for accessories and the intake and exhaust manifolds). While I was at it, I had a new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing put in. Since buying and putting the new motor and clutch in it, I've only put just over 12,000 miles on it. The A/C works but needs a charge. I've never been one to use it, so I have never bothered with it. There is a button on the inside that engages the A/C condensor and it works just fine and I have no reason to believe there is a leak in the system. It was just never recharged when the motor was replaced, but it worked and blew cold before that. I ran it all this time, of course without the A/C compressor engaged. The truck works just as it should. I am a builder and because I build close to where I live, I never put many miles on it. I took it down to Florida and over to Ohio (from VA) a few times with a quad in the back and it still got great gas mileage. The motor is the 22RE 2.4L 4 cylinder with a 5 speed, so I have always enjoyed great gas mileage. This is a 4x4 with the aluminum factory mags with very good tires on it. They are good on the streets and great in the mud. I've tried to get it stuck and couldn't. The interior is very good for its age. The drivers seat is torn as you can see from the pictures, but the passenger seat, doors and carpet are in great shape. The XTRA cab offers the flip down seats and some storage underneath. The radio and all the gauges work. The mileage has not been tampered with. The exterior does show signs of fading paint and some clear coat failure, but overall the body is very straight with just very minor car dings, a couple of bubbles, and typical scratches. The paint still shines and looks good as you can see from the pictures. The previous owner put a black coating in the bed and put down a form-fitted very thick rubber bedliner which has served me very well. It's been a very very reliable truck for me that always started even when other vehicles didn't in subzero temperatures. I hate to sell it, but just don't need it anymore.
