Vehicle Detail

Being re-listed due to a "unqualified"  bidder.  This is available to bidders in the U.S. and Canada ONLY.  Also, if your feedback score is less then 10, contact me before bidding.  American Motors made 825 AMX's with a 401 in 1972...the question remains, how many were 4-speeds, with air conditioning in special order P1/00 Midnight Black?I am the 3rd owner of this well cared for "2nd day stock" AMX.  I have complete documentation beginning with the original sales agreement, window sticker, warranty card, bill for engine overhaul (1981), receipt for 2nd owner (1988), and sale to myself.  It is a straight solid classic muscle car that is a blast to drive.  It pulls like a freight train with the 4-speed and 3:91 Trac-lock rear.  It has power steering, manual brakes (disc/drum), air conditioning( blows cold), Rally Pac dash, courdroy upholstery,  and 15" Machine wheels.  At some point, the 2nd owner installed headers, aluminum intake, stereo, and "speaker farm" in the rear deck.  I have the original manifolds, intake, am/8 track, and uncut original package tray.  These are included with the car, as well as a matching spare wheel and tire and new hood insulation.  There is a 12"x4"metal patch on the passenger floor well , and a small one on the trunk floor shown in the photo. The inner rockers are rusty.  The body is nice and straight, and the paint is smooth and even and shines well.  Interior is all issue-free and original, except for new carpet.  All lights, gauges, wipers, interior and trunk lights are working.  Brakes are like new, has new stabilizer links, new torque arm bushings, and alignment.  All fluids were changed about 150 miles ago.  The car does not drop any fluids.  I urge serious buyers to inspect this rare car.  Any questions email or call (518) 265-9182.
