My 1969 Saab Sonett V4....I have had this Sonett in my vintage collection and stored inside for almost 10 years. Before that it was owned by my friend, also always inside in his collection since 1986. The rockers, main floors , engine compartment side panels, battery tray and trunk floor are all solid. The interior, including the headliner, is in very good original condition. All the gauges including the clock are working. All of the locks lock. A floor shifter from a Sonett III was added very early on but the column shifter is still there and could easily be re-connected - but a floor shifter is more enjoyable for most drivers. A two barrel Weber carbutetor with a matching manifold and a low restriction glass pack muffler are installed for a bit of extra sportyness. The rear glass has an old crack that has just been professionally epoxy system repaired, is now static and should not get any worse. The tires are vintage Michelin "X" with an extra soccer ball rim in the trunk but no spare tire. The car was originally blue but the red repaint from 25+ years ago is showing its age. There is no structural damage to the fiberglass body. All the side glass is good as well as the original windshield. The car starts easily, runs smoothly and drives beautifully. I have a clean California "pink slip" and will assist with U.S. and international transfers after payment. I will want $500 PayPal deposit in 48 hours after the auction closes and the balance must be sent to me by Cashier's Check that must clear my and the sending bank before the car leaves. My Saab can be seen locally near Chico or Oroville, California. I have three other early Sonetts, although they are not for sale, and can answer specific and detailed questions.
