***Car is being re-listed. due to a negligent buyer. Please don't waste everyone's time by bidding before deciding you want a car. You are bidding to own a car, not bidding on the right to decide an hour later that you don't want to bother with it.*** Rare 54 Chrysler New Yorker Town and Country Wagon Purchased from the son of an employee of the Italian Embassy. As told by him, this car was special ordered by the Italian Embassy and was used by them from 54 until 1958. I have no documentation for this, since I bought it off of the gentleman's son after he passed away, and have owned it for almost 30 years, now. Excellent solid body. 39223 miles on the original 331 hemi, w/ with power steering and automatic trans. Runs, though it's not road worthy. Interior is in very nice orig shape.Some rust in floor, but i have a complete rust free floor along with a replacement front fender that will go with the car. All original sheet metal never damaged, aside from the one fender. Lots of collected NOS chrome including NOS rear fender chrome which is extremely hard to come by. Tailgate, edged and installed. All factory tinted glass good. I have many other parts that go with it that i have been collecting over the past 3 decades and lots of replacement parts. Original color on the car is mahogany with biege roof. Restoration started, but i have run out of time and storage space, so it's time to let go of some of the projects i wont be able to finish soon. Most trim has been taken off, cleaned and wrapped for safe keeping inside the car.
