We have a 1966 Chevy II hardtop Pro Street or Dragster Project. This car started as a "money was no object, build the best Pro Street/Racer you can." (but you know how that goes). The car has a new Ford 9" rear 4 link with coil overs shocks and disk brakes. In front it has a Heidt's front end and suspension, with disk brakes, coil over shocks and rack&pinion stearing. The body has a custom Harwood tilt front end and a fiberglass trunk lid. There is a lot of bodywork done including new quarterpanels, but it needs finishing. The car is in primer. On the inside it has a full rollcage, aluminum floors a custom dash. The Heidt fron end was $3000, the rear $2500, the Harwood front $1800, plus wheels, brakes, tires, coil overs, steering...lot's of money went into this car, (plus the cost of the car!). The chassis and rollcage were professionally built by a fabricator. It is setup for a Chevy small block and a manual trans, but it can fit a bigblock if you like. The car does not have an engine or trans. If you are building a car (any car) this car is great just for it's parts! If you're looking to build a race this is a great chassis and body.
