1970 ½ Pontiac Trans Am T/A RAM AIR III 4 Speed No Reserve I purchased the Trans Am from its second owner in Ohio; the car was sitting garaged for the past 27 years. It’s an all matching numbers car: including the engine, transmission, Positraction 12 Bolt rearend and JW Rims. I have the build sheet for the car, as seen below, which verifies its originality as a true Trans Am. The Trans Am was originally Polar white with a black custom interior, somewhere along the way it was painted Lucerne blue. This car has the factory center console (RPO code D55) with a very nice factory 4 speed shifter. The 400cid V8 has a code of WS and the casting number # 9799914 date coded D300. I had the motor sent out, disassembled, cleaned and pressure tested and it received a clean bill of health. The block has standard bore on all cylinders and crank shaft. The cylinder heads code #12 date coded A270 also pressure tested and are in good health. The correct engine intake manifold casting number 9799068 Date coded E060 is in great shape. The original four speed Muncie M21 transmission code P0E06B is in good shape but has one ear broken on its case.(see below picture) However I have the broken ear and this can easily be repaired. This car has all its original drive train including flywheel, driveshaft, bell housing, and inspection covers. The factory 12 Bolt Rear axle code# C0X 05070 has the Positraction (locking) 3.55 ratio differential. This car also has the original 1970 Trans Am bucket seats with new and never out of the box front and rear seat covers included with the car. The dash board is in very nice shape with no cracks. The Trans Am is all there with original fenders, hood, shaker air cleaner, radiator support, wiring harness, engine pulleys, and accessory brackets. The Fenders have some rust but are very repairable. The floor boards, trunk pan and rear frame support are fine. Included with the car are donor quarter panels, new quarter panel skins, door skins and upper cowl panel. There are many additional parts going with this car as you can see in the photos. I have too many cars right now and definitely will regret selling this very correct number matching 4 speed Trans Am. I really need the garage space right now for other projects. 500.00 Dollar Deposit within 24 Hours of auction end and full payment 7-10 days after. I will store the car for one month in doors or a little longer if needed with prior agreed upon arrangement. No Reserve and no buy it now. Thanks for looking.
