This 356 Porsche has been loved and taken care of all of it's life, and shows no signs of ever being bumped. It still has it's original engine and transmission as per certificate of authenticity. It runs great, doesn't smoke, shifts perfectly in all gears and the 4 wheel disc brakes are newer and stop perfectly. This car drives like a new 356 should and has no mechanical problems. The floor pans are original with all their factory indents and factory spot welds. The front battery pan was replaced as the battery leaked in the past, but it was a factory reproduction and looks great. Photos of the pan and battery carrier are on this site and the car has never been rusted anywhere. Any service needed has been done when due and the car will cruise all day at 75 mph. The original Blaupunkt radio is in place and works very well but none of these radio speaker systems ever had good tone. The car has had four owners and lived most of it's life in the high deserts and only driven on dry days. The third owner had the engine and trans rebuilt at 118,000 miles and the clutch and all related parts were changed. He also had the car upholstered, carpeted, and repainted at the same time. Unfortunately he changed the interior and exterior colors. It was originally white with red interior. The paint is thirteen years old and has some chips on the front bumper and door edges which I tried to show in the pictures but they didn't show up well. The car looks great even with the imperfections and the interior showing a little tired in areas. The best thing about this car is that it runs great and has never been rusted and goes down the road quietly and smoothly. Fly in and drive it home no matter how far away you live.
