Up for bid is my 1939 Dodge Coupe D-11-S.When was the last time you've seen a stock 1939 Dodge Coupe?This model is very rare because it has the back seat. Look up the amount of Coupes that were made with the back seat.Most Coupes came through with just the front seat. This car starts right up. It runs very smooth. The engine is very strong. It has a column mounted shifter that shifts very smoothly.The clutch works perfectly. No chatter.The interior is just about new. It is the original style material.The side panels are excellent. It has a new headliner .It has the original style brown floormat in very good condition. The dash is decent. The horn needs a horn button.This car came with an automatic choke. All the gauges work except the gas gauge. It needs a sending unit.All dash lights work. The high beam button has to be put back.It was taken out. The wiring is all new.This car also came with electric wipers..They work great. It needs new wipers. I have had all the dash knobs made. They should arrive this week.I cannot find any rust on this car. The undercarrige is perfect and is all rust free. It is really clean. The whole muffler system is new front to back.The shocks are almost new. The trunk is perfect and rust free. It does need a mat.All chrome is good .The bumpers are in excellent condition. The bumper guards need the red stripes repainted on them. The grille is really excellent. It also has the ram hood ornament which is in perfect condition.The paint is really nice. You can see yourself in the paint. In one or two very small spots the primer is showing but you really don't notice it at all. The glass is all good. The doors shut tight.The running boards have just been recovered.The tires are just about new. I have this car listed elswhere for sale and have the right to pull this ad at any time. This is an outstanding very honest little coupe. Not perfect but really really nice.It would be cool to drop a big V8 in there .The body style is so nice.
