This vehicle was involved in an accident and was totaled by the insurance company whom we purchased the car from. The insurance company dictated that the vehicle be branded with a salvage title from our state of Louisiana. The salvage title will stand in most states and is considered as would a non salvage title, it's purpose is to allow any future buyers of the vehicle to know that retained a certain percentage of damage in an accident. The vehicle sustained damage in the driver's rear quarter panel, door, rear bumper and tail lamp. The impact caused a minor stress buckle on the passanger rear quarter panel but should straighten when placed on a frame machane. The trunk lid appears not damaged and opens and shuts but may may need repair once the quarter panels are in alingment, difficult to call at this point. The vehicle cranks and the engine runs quite well and has a confirmed odometer reading of 98,156 miles. The interior of the vehicle appears to be in very good condition for it's year and apparent use as a commercial limouisine. The rear interior overhead console housing stereo and a/c controls dislodged from the ceiling during the accident, the extensive bar appears in very good condition, seats are all in very good condition.The vehicle appears to have a sunroof in the back however it is just a fancy recessed over head mirror system with matching wood trim for extra curicular activities perhaps like a newly weds ride from the church? There is damp oil where the drivers side of axle housing goes into the differential, this could possibly indicate the rear end moved however it is not totally abnormal to find this type of seepage in that arear of the rearend on ford motor products. That being said, it is just imposible for us to be certain one way or the other. We do have an axle housing that had loud bearing noise from differential which the differential gears from the limousine could be transfered to if needed. We will through this housing in with the sale of the car in the event the rearend is in fact bent. We have also had inquiries if we had any of the parts in stock for the repair job, and unfortuatley we do not, however we have located a quarter panel and rearbumper and will give that information to the high bidder.
