We're selling it because my son is off to college and he needs the money for school. We're including as much information and detail as we can about this car. We posted the maximum number of pictures, including pictures of the worst of the defects, but if there is anything that you want to see, let us know and we can email you more. All of the defects that we couldn't post pictures for are listed. The tags have just been renewed for a year and we just bought new floor mats, wiper blades and we're having the oil changed this week. Please read this entire ad and send a message if you have any questions. Mechanical: There are no mechanical defects that we know of. We've had all maintenance and work done at the local Ford dealer and have receipts. Check-out the list above to see the work that has been done in the last year. The car runs extremely well and is fun to drive - very smooth. The Ford mechanic said he'd drive it cross-country. The AC is not cold like a new car, but does cool down. Ford said that it can be checked for $48 and recharged for $80-120. The heat is nice and warm. Gets approx. 18 mpg in town and 22 mpg highway. Interior: The car interior looks really clean and is extremely comfortable. The interior is a blueish/gray - more gray than blue. The upholstery, headliner and carpet are in very good condition and have been cleaned. We don't know if it was smoked in. There are NO burn marks anywhere and it doesn't smell like smoke to us; we've had others take a whiff too; it doesn't have that new car smell, but it doesn't smell dirty either. Here are all the defects in the interior (some pictures below): crack in each of the door handle frames, scratches on the left driver's side kick plate, dried tape residue on the dash to the right of the steering wheel, we took a picture of where a clip was attached to the passenger visor to show the dent it left; we just removed it so this dent may go away in time. Exterior: The exterior is white and looks amazingly clean for it's age. There are no major dents or scratches. Here are the defects on the exterior (some pictures below): 2 small dings (you can hardly see them) and 3 small paint chips. Black trim of door frames have color chips. Black on the rubber front bumper is coming off in spots. The driver's side mirror has a scuff. There are typical fine scratches below the door handles. There are marks under where the front license plate would go. We will update this listing if we think of any other information that will be helpful to potential bidders.
