Vehicle Detail
This is a hobby/ parts car which was running fine until the crash in a rain storm. I am the original owner- drove it out of the showroom in June, 2002. Oh well, my loss may be your gain. this would be a good choice for someone needing to repair a similar model or to rebuild this one . The engine cranks but won't start due to the broken timing belt and pullies. However, this 2.0 L 4 cylinder inline is not what is known as an "interference engine"- the valves and pistons are not damaged by a broken timing belt, making this relatively easy to repair. The 4 Michelin x Radial P205-75R15 tires were mounted on 4/27/2010 at Costco- although they didn't record the odometer for some reason, you can do the math and figure they have less than 10K on them. The car was well serviced under my care with Oil changes and repairs as necessary. There's 1 wheel center cap missing and some miscellaneous dings and dents. No broken glass and the air bags didn't go off. Interior is clean. All the stuff works- Power windows,(driver door has a brand new OEM switch), door locks, radio/CD, A/C- now you may need some work on that condenser- and an aftermarket remote starter. I also have a set of rear brakes NIB -Shoes, drums and hardware- I'll include them with the sale. So what you need is a nose and some light duty engine compartment repairs. I set a low reserve so I don't get boned by a bottom feeder. Located in Bergen County, NJ. I will not ship- you must pick it up or have it picked up- you need a tow anyway. Payment details below. Any other questions please ask away and I'll do my best to give a straight answer. Thanks for looking and good luck.
