1971 CL450 Honda Motorcycle. I purchased the bike in the modified condition it is in, back in 1975. The motorcycle had 3500 miles on it when I purchased it, 5912.9 mi. now. The bike has been garaged for most of the time since then. The bike is in good condition overall. It needs cosmetic work, it has some surface rust, the header needs re-chroming or re-finishing and a silencer. The bike needs paint, the gas tank needs repainting, it has a few small dings, scratches and cracking in the paint. The gas tank also has some rust inside, I flushed it out 3 or 4 times, but still needs a good cleaning. I cleaned the carburators, but I think they are still clogging, (having a hard time getting it to idle), but they are OK at higher RPMs. The bike has no battery in it at the moment, but I can jump start it, ( I will install a battery for a serious buyer so it can be test driven) the engine runs strong. Clutch and transmission are in good condition also. I also have the original seat that is in good condition, it is missing 1 rubber frame seating cushion on the bottom. Last time I rode it, many years ago everything worked fine. All lights and electrical work. The bike is a nice restoration project. I am selling the bike in as is condition.
