1997 Dodge Heavy Duty Ram 2500 SLT Laramie 4x4 5.9L Cummins Diesel 12 Valve extended cab long bed, automatic. It has 123,600 miles. It is two tone with green and silver. The interior is gray cloth. It is a one owner truck and has the famous 5.9L Cummins 12 Valve motor. It has all the standard SLT Laramie features plus numerous factory upgrades: 6 way power drivers seat, power mirrors, factory Infinity cassette/cd player, auto transmission, shift on the floor 4x4, 3.55 axle/anti-spin differential, cab steps, trailer tow package, overhead console with compass/temperature display, and much more. It also has a spray-in liner. On the interior, all the power equipment works. The A/C and heater work great. No smoke odor! Non-smoker! The gray cloth interior and the carpets are in exceptional condition. The dash and instrument panel are also in great condition and well kept. On the exterior, the truck is straight. The paint is still glossy. It does have normal wear and tear, but very minimal for the year. Here are the areas of most notable wear and tear (all can be viewed clearly in the pictures): There is a ding in the tailgate. Front bumper on driver’s side is slightly damaged. There was a small 5-7 inch repair between rear bumper and tailgate. Passenger side lock cylinder is bent, but operable. There is some corrosion underneath and on the undercarriage of the truck, but no such corrosion or rust in the body. The wheels are in nice condition. The tires are LT235/85/R16 Load Range E. The rear tires have minimal tread remaining and the front tires have 75%+ tread remaining (please see pictures). Overall this is a very straight truck and has a nice appearance. Never in an accident. Mechanically, this truck runs and drives excellent. It fires right up in the morning. The transmission shifts perfectly, the engine runs very strong, and the suspension is solid. The front brakes and the fuel-sending unit were both replaced in the last six months. It is a 1997 truck so one of the very last true heavy duty Dodges with the 5.9L 12-valve diesel, before they got all the emissions stuff the new ones have.
