This auction listing is for a nice 1953 Buick Special 2 dr hardtop Riviera. This car is restorable and has a ton of potential. The motor does not run. It is a straight eight cylinder, and has a three speed manual, column shifted transmission. The odometer reading is 83,537 miles and matches the title. This car is all manual, steering, brakes, windows, etc.. The body is decent, with only minor visible rust. The floors and trunk pan are solid. It was repainted at some point. The interior is complete and in good shape including the optional radio and factory tissue box. This car was being restored by the previous owner and due to circumstances at the time, it was never completed. The car is complete for the most part, but has been partially disassembled to paint and detail the motor covers and accessories and wasn't reassembled before being sold. I was told it was running at the time the parts were removed. It would not be a giant project to make it run, and most of the parts are with the car.
