Vehicle Detail
1957 FORD FAIRLANE Sports Roof with a 312 V8 factory motor. The car is all original with exception to a new set of 15X7 American racing wheels in the rear and 15X6 in the front. We will include the factory wheels, tires and hubcaps. This car has the original paint still on it and the grease marks are on the hood along with the maintenance stickers in the door jams. All windows roll down and are in working order. All floor pans are clean with no rust or holes. The Undercarriage of the car is clean with only minor blemishes of oil and surface rust. The car has a new Dual Exhaust system, New Headliner, New Interior Seats Front and Rear, New chrome badging on rear sides and front rear ornaments. The bumpers have the original chrome on them and are in fair shape considering their age. Codes for the car are as follows: Body: 64B Color: C Trim:AR Date:I2/72 G Trans:3 Axle:2. VIN# C7DT217271 This car runs and drives and could be driven wherever you would like to go. The body is in excellent shape with no rust including the trunk pan (see Pic)! All body side molding is there, The underside pics show some areas where oil and grease have been thrown out of the drive shaft from servicing, and the owner says he thinks it is a 20K original mile car.... However... You need to be the judge. Windshield wipers are in the trunk along with all other extra old parts. Car has been stored inside all its life. If you want to see it in person, just call me and I can make arrangements to get it out. The windshield is original and has no cracks, All paint is original and only minor rock chips up front. Dash is clean, heater works, radio is there and works sometimes, clock can work once wound (not willing to mess with it, don't want to break it) This car can be shown, driven or would be a great candidate for restoration for a street Rod.
