What you are looking at here folks is a "real deal" 1967 Shelby GT350. There were only 1174 of these produced and this is #1429. It is also a factory 4 speed!! This Shelby went through a very high dollar restoration a few years ago and still looks magnificent!! This GT350 was originally a nightmist blue car from the factory. During its restoration it was painted the correct Shelby red. The paint on the car is absolutely excellent!! It was totally taken apart and painted correctly. The body is 100% laser straight! There are no waves or imperfections. The Shelby retains its original fiberglass hood and decklid. The car runs and drives excellent !!! The engine was rebuilt at the time of the restoration and has around 5000 miles on it. It performs flawlessly!! I do not know if the 289 is original to the car. I have not been able to find any numbers to identify it. The transmission also performs perfectly. The 4 speed is tight and is a blast to drive. The previous owner told me that it is the original transmission. The Shelby comes with a Marti report, copy of original dealer invoice, and Shelby owners manual. The passenger sun visor has also been autographed by Carroll Shelby. All in All folks, there is not much left to say. This is a no excuses, original, "real deal" Shelby GT350. Please take plenty of time to look at all of the pictures. There are pictures of everything. You will be able to see the super nice undercarriage with the correct red oxidized primer.
