Vehicle Detail
This is a great find of an original 1963 Nova SS convertible that WAS owned by a little old lady since it was a year old until her death in 1992 and then willed the car to her Grandaughter who stored it away at that time. The car is all original with only one repaint back in the middle 80's. The car is the original silver exterior color with a great condition ORIGINAL black interior. We spent an hour filed the points, hooked up a gallon gas can and after a little coaxing she came to life, didn't smoke one bit and settled down to a nice idle, even the exhaust system is good(THE ONLY UNHAPPY CRITTER WAS A MOUSE WHO WAS LIVEING IN THE MUFFLER). While the car was running I jumped in, put it in gear, it immediatle went in reverse then drive and to my total suprise the brakes still were up and worked fine to stop the car. The drive train is totally original with an original 95450 miles. Nothing on this car was ever molested, the interior is near perfect, the gauges work and ALL THE ORIGINAL SS badges and emblems are still in tact includeing the original hubcaps. The trunk has one hole that we see and the inner fender wells and at the hinges is in good condition. This is a great resto project of a near untouched, near original 1963 Nova SS convertible. The things I found missing are one fender peak molding, bumper jack and hook and the only added thing is a old FM converter mounted under the dash. If you have any more questions call us at 603-942-6118. On Jul-27-11 at 05:24:22 PDT, seller added the following information: This car will be only listed ONCE, if it doesn't sell we will put it in our barn and restore it later this winter and sell it in the spring done. We built as a nice clean driver another 63 Nova (non SS) convertible 5 years ago and it brought $20,000.00 very quick sale in the yard. We also currently have it listed locally so until the reserve is met we have the right to end the auction early for a cash sale. Have a great day.On Aug-02-11 at 03:01:19 PDT, seller added the following information: The reserve has been met and the car WILL sell to the highest bidder here at auction. Just remember the time to ask specific questions or for more pictures is BEFOR bidding NOT after. Thanks, good luck to all 108 watchers and also have a great day!!!!!!!!!!
