Up for sale is my 1959 Chevy Panel Truck. I have done a ton of work on this vehicle and I love to drive it. I wouldn't sell it at all but like so many people I need the money right now worse than I need the Panel. It has a 1985 Chevy Pickup rear end and front end as well as a sweet 305 V8 with only 60,000 miles on it. It runs out down the road beautifully. Some of the additions and improvements include: new power brake booster and brakes power leather seats (4) ($1000) new power window motors cruise tilt new tires ($500) new front shocks reasonably new air shocks on rear new mirrors inside and out new door handles inside and out new glass all the way around ($1000) new rubber on all doors and windows ($1000) new heater fan and heater controls new glove box new arm rests new halogen headlights new headlight bezels new belts, hoses, plugs, wires, filters new alternator new step wells on each side ($500) completely new wiring end to end and fuse box rebuilt wiper motor new wiper arms and blades new triple guages new fuel sending unit new speedometer cable new parking lenses and bezels new battery rechromed original front bumper rechromed original back bumper rechromed original grill new double flowmasters ($500) (great sound) I have driven it less than 1000 miles since all these parts were purchased and installed. I will throw in another set of rear doors, headlight bezels, parking lenses, original speedometer and original door handles which all together should be worth $1000. for free. The interior is mostly a blank slate. I installed the four leather seats with the back two facing the passenger side. The plan was for a flat screen on that wall. But they can easily be rearranged. The original wood floor in the rear has not been replaced . There is new heat shield and carpet in the front but the carpet was really temporary carpet until I could decide what to do in the rear. The paint is millinium yellow. It is a great 20 foot paint job. I took this truck to professional rebuilders who specialize in classic cars to be painted. It turned out to be really eye catching and I get compliments on it but if you look close it just isn't car show ready by any means. The truck runs true down the road and is a lot of fun to drive! I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere! In fact I will deliver it to you for a reasonable fee. Last summer the same year and model panel sold for $35K. It was immaculate and well worth the money. This one needs less than $7500 in it to get to that level but you'll be amazed at how low the reserve is. Feel free to ask any questions and happy bidding!
