Here we have a very nice looking 2002 Ford Escape 4 x 4. It is fully loaded with leather seats, power windows and locks, sunroof, tow hitch, automatic transmission and a 6 cylinder. The body is very clean with the exception of a very faint scratch on the passenger side and a little surface rust on the drivers side rear door opening. The tires are in great shape with a ton of tread left. The transmission shifts nice and smooth. The A/C blows cold. Now the bad thing. I drove home from work and when I went and got back in it, I started it and it had a tick and it was running a little rough. I went and put it in gear and it stalled. I started it back up and put it in drive and it stalled again. I had my friend who is a Ford mechanic come and take a look, he did not get into it but he said he thought it was either a lifter or a valve sticking or a bad coil. So I parked it with the intension of getting it fixed but I just don't have the time. It SHOULD be an easy fix, Again we did not get into it. I was driving it back and forth to work before that, so I don't know, Im certainly not a mechanic. It is a great little SUV. Good on gas and fun to drive and in good condition. I am starting it off at a cheap price. You know these can run high. It is being sold as-is. You are more than welcome to come take a look. I am listing it locally also so it could sell at any time.
