1976 Honda Gold Wing

Most everone knows about the 1976 LIMITED EDITION Gold Wing. This is another one of my bikes in my collection that I am offering for sale. View my other listings. I am getting to old to enjoy the collection and show them, so letting them go to someone that can appreciate them and show them. As you may be aware only 2,000 of these were sent to the USA. And I have two of them. These are truly collector bikes. This one is about as good as it gets. Although this one has 50,000 on the speedometer I took all the painted parts off of one that only has 30,000 miles. It has a special paint job and the radiator fins are chrome(instead of painted) and a lot of chrome bolts and fuel shut off. Even the fuel cap is chrome. The tool case is leather and the tools are chrome plated. This one has electronic ignition. This bike, like my others, was for shows, not for riding. It has been down stairs covered up for a few years. Normally I take them out once a year and replace the fuel with fresh fuel and ride them through the neighborhood and put them back. I always make sure the fuel tank is full so no condensation gets in the tank and also drain the carbs when putting it away. Just got it out to take these pictures so will replace the fuel and get it running. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it at least an 8. There are only two paint issues that I noticed. One is on the right side cover. There is a very small paint chip. In the picture of the right side cover look between my sneaker reflection and you will see it. The other is on the faux tank cover lid. Like a lot of others the clear coat is flaking away in a few spots(shown in pictures). I'm sure a paint shop could correct that with a little clear coat. In my opinion this bike is show quality and I have had it in many shows. For being 35 years old I think it is in great shape. The pictures speak for themselves. You can judge for yourself. And with a bike of this age there is no warranty and you are buying as is. But as you can see by my 100 per cent approval rating I do not mislead on my items that I sell. And in Kansas it qualify's as an Antique. This is truely a collectors bike and will increase in value as the years go by. If you have any question let me have them.
