Up for bids is a 1987 Ford Mustang LX Hatchback with a "NEW" 331 Stroker Engine (Street or Strip ready). Has new paint, newly rebuilt C4 transmission, carpet, new complete A/C system and 373 gear. BODY: Super straight body with GT nose, Harwood 3-inch cowl hood, and black and silver base/clear paint. INTERIOR: New carpet (Cabin and hatch area), Seats, door panels, dash in excellent condition. CD player MOTOR: 331 Stroker kit from Eagle Specialty, stock Ford heads, ported, polished, large valves and 3 angle valve job. Holley 670 Carb, Wiend Excellarator Intake, Competition Cams Extreme Energy Cam. Under drive pulleys Black magic fan TRANS: Cooks Performance Transmission C4 Street/Strip valve body. Borg Warner clutches, Kevlar band, teflon rings, pro shift servo. Good to 55O HP. Aluminum drive shaft CONVERTER: TCI Breakaway Street/Strip 2600 Stall SHIFTER: B&M Pro Ratchet EXHAUST: Headman long tube headers, 2 1/2 inch exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers REAR: 8.8 with 373 Ford Racing gear set and Ford traction with loc limited slip differiental. Holcomb Motorsports 5 lug conversion. FRONT SUSPENSION: Lakewood 90/10 Drag shocks and 5 lug disc brake conversion REAR SUSPENSION: Southside Machine lower control arms, Lakewood 50/50 shocks, air bag in right rear. Overall fast, well built, solid street/strip car. Has 500 miles on rebuild. Went 7.80 in 1/8 of a mile on one and only pass. Has power streering, power brakes, and air.
