1954 Lincoln Capri 2dr. Hardtop Up for auction is my Dad's beautiful '54 Lincoln Capri. It is a 2 door hardtop. My Dad is getting older, and he is no longer able to drive his toys. He asked me to sell this one, and a couple of others that he has. My Dad has owned this Lincoln for approximately 10+ years. I will describe his car to the best of my abilities. If you have any questions, please click on the "ask seller a question" button above, and I promise to answer all questions in a timely manner. First off, I am listing the car for my Dad. My Dad is the owner of the car, and has a clear title for it. My Dad, and the car are both located in Dalton Gardens, Idaho, on the outskirts of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. I am in Chico, CA. Sorry for any confusion, but I have the e-bay account, and I'm doing this for my Dad, who isn't able to do it himself. The car: It's a beautiful hardtop. The nose and deck have been shaved. It's black with a white top. The body/paint are very, very nice! I'd say a 9 out of 10 conservatively. All of the body trim is in excellent shape, as is allow the glass. This car was totally restored by the previous owner. It retains it's original 317.5 V8 with the 4 speed Hydro automatic transmission. There is a billet adapter to fit the Edelbrock 4bbl. carburetor onto the stock intake. The carb. is a 600cfm with vacuum secondaries and an electric choke. The car has full gauges, including aftermarket gauges. The front suspension has offset modified a-arms, to re-locate the ball joints. This, and blocks in the rear have lowered the car 3 to 4 inches. The front suspension is fitted with Air Ride Technologies air ride suspension, with onboard compressor, gauges, and switches to raise or lower the car in seconds. The car has factory power steering. There is a battery tender fitted to the car under the hood. This allows an extension cord to be plugged in to the tender, and it maintains the battery when the car is stored. The car has an aftermarket Vintage Air A/C setup that works very well. There are also electric fans mounted to the radiator. They are manually switched from inside the car. There is also an electric fuel pump. This allows for instant starts after being stored for any lenght of time. Ther interior has been completely re-done, and it's beautiful!!. There are air conditioning ducts/vents molded in to the dash...looks great! There is an Am-Fm Cassette stereo that fits in to the dash perfectly, and has LINCOLN printed on the face. The air bag gauge is on the steering column. The seats are 2 tone white leather, and black cloth. All new headliner, carpeting, visors. The dash is painted black with white pinstriping. All chrome inside, and out has been re-done to show quality. The car is running stock wheels with Coker wide Whitewalls. there are skirts on the rear. All body trim has been removed, restored, and polished, or replated to look like new. The only thing that this cars needs, is a new owner. This car has placed in the top 3, in every show it's been entered into. It's that nice!
