We understand information may be available from GM or NASCAR if you want to research, but we have not done that and do not know if records exist. The car apparently was used by NASCAR until 2001. The first owner bought at auction in Indianapolis. I bought in 2003. I never raced it or modified it. I am 51 and properly maintained it and treated it as a show car. The Flowmaster exhaust is a little loud, but obviously intended for the track. Nowhere near as loud as a race car. The car never has had body work or paint. The graphics are in super condition, as the car is garaged. The only exterior damage is a minor cut on the front bumper, which we were told occurred while working as a pace car. The interior is graphite gray leather in super condition. The digital head up display works and is cool. The strobe system works fine. Whelen supplies professional level systems for emergency vehicles across the country. The Fasttrax is a spoiler above the rear window that holds a rear-facing strobe bar. The tires are Goodyear Eagles in excellent condition. Only a few of these cars ever existed, and most now have a zillion miles and screwed up graphics. This car is a great reminder of the history of Pontiac support of Winston Cup racing. On Aug-01-11 at 05:53:56 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to additional bidder questions: The reserve is set at $9,000. I took it out for a drive yesterday, and I was really fun. Hot day, and the AC worked great.
