However , I found another bike and now have no room for this one. This winter all the cracks in the plastics were repaired with Plastimend and repainted with Dupont Base clear. 2 coats of clear on the fairings and 4 coats on the tank. I found aftermarket full lower fairings. They are fiberglas not the ABS plasitc like the rest of the fairings. The seat is a Corbin seat. I have the factory seat to go with the bike. The factory lower cowl goes with the bike also. The tank is clean inside, NO rust. New aftermarket grips, new aftermarket mirrors. New mufflers. New exhaust gaskest. I got rid of the bulky turn signals and installed lower profile aftermarket turns front and rear. Plugs, oil, and filter changed less than 300 miles ago. Forks and wheels were also painted with base clear. Brakes and clutch operate smoothly. Shifts great. Bike runs awesome! However! as good as the bike runs, I have not had the carbs cleaned or the valves adjusted. bike runs smooth with no missing or hesitation. The only thing that needs attention is the headlight switch. headlight works on low beam but wont switch to high. I have another switch for it, I just havent had the time to swap it. If you cant pay then dont bid. Ensure that you have funds available before you bid. A $200 non refundable deposit is to be made within 24 hours and the remainder to be paid by paypal before pickup arrangements are to be made. Cash for the remainder of the balance at pick up would be great so Paypal fees dont beat me up too bad. I WILL NOT SHIP THE BIKE. If you want it shipped then you will have to make all the arrangements, and contact me prior to bidding. If you have negative feedback in the last 6 months or if you are new to ebay and have little or no feedback you must contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be removed. Please understand this is to protect me. Everytime I end up with a non payment and have to relist the item it costs me money that I cant recover This bike is not new, It's 27 years old. I have only owned it for 8 months. I have described this as accurately as I could. there are no refunds or returns NO International bidders. Dont even ask
