1965 TR-4 VIN # CT 38260L0 Body # 38803. Current mileage shows 9942, 4-speed w/ OD. No rust, new TR4A top, wire wheels, very clean, solid car, excellent interior, finished trunk. Electronic ignition added in 2009. The car was restored in 1985, by lifetime TR fan George Gilhoover; he passed in 2008. He reported engine rebuilt in 1985 as part of rebuild, so mileage on it is 9942; though no further proof. Painted metallic navy blue, it is an authentic TR color. Story was Prince Charles in 1965 wanted a TR4, but did not like the color choices, so Triumph painted his and 50 others this metallic navy blue. This car orig was white, so this is a copy. Two small chips by rear pass-side wheel well. I added the TR-250 stripe, but it is a TR4. Included is the orig restored TR4 top frame & webbing. Needs a carb adjust, as it runs best w/ some choke.
