This is a 1970 MGB, the only year for the split rear bumper. The car is in original condition with the exception of the paint which was resprayed from yellow to red some years back. This MGB starts and drives great and would make an excellent daily driver or a drive-while-you-restore candidate. The brake master cylinder was just professionally replaced by a British motors specialist here in Phoenix and the car has a new exhaust system. The interior is in good condition with only a small tear in the vinyl on the driver’s seat. The odometer show 67,274 but his cannot be verified as accurate since the speedo cable is loose and the speedometer needle bounces around while driving. The electrics are in good condition and everything is in working order with the possible exception of the heater blower - it may be ok but I don't hear anything when I switch on the booster, and I'm in Phoenix so I don't have much need for it. This car has some needs: it needs paint - the red respray is very old and faded and there are some areas of surface rust that are beginning to show. Also the red color has faded at a different rate over the areas where body filler has been used (you can see the darker red in the pics). The hood also needs to be realigned and some small dings need to be hammered out - the hood (or bonnet) currently sits a little forward of where it should be - I believe it to be the original aluminum bonnet. There is some pitting on the chrome trim and gauge bezels. There is only minor surface rust in small areas - the floors and rockers are very solid with no signs of rust. The car will come with a black soft top and frame (not currently on the car and with a couple of small tears) a black full tonneau cover in great condition and a red top boot.
