I bought this H2 Hummer for my wife in December 2004. It was bought locally and just traded in after the 3 year/36K miles warranty had expired. It had a little over 36K miles on it when we bought it at the Hummer Dealership in Chattanooga, Tn. It was a 1 owner and in perfect condition. My wife is a nurse and it has been her daily driver for the past 6 1/2 years. She has put 110k miles on it since we have had it and have had NO major issues with it and it pretty much looks just like it did the day we bought it. It has been very reliable and my wife ( who is not passionate toward her vehicles like me), has absolutely loved her H2. We never planned on selling it. When she finally wore it out, I was going to put it up because I think someday these monsters will be rare to see on the road. This H2 is fully loaded except for the sun roof. It does have the 3rd row seat and exterior spare tire rack. It also has the nice brush gaurd in front. Anyway, I have unexpectedly lost my job, and my wife can no longer afford it as her daily driver, so we have decided to sell. There are some minor repairs needed. I decided to sell as is rather than have the minor repairs made. Here is a list of the issues/repairs needed. 1) Drivers side seat power motor is bad. Seat is all the way forward, and it will take a medium to small build person to drive it home. My wife is only 5'2 so it hasn't bothered her. It stopped working about 6 months ago. 2) The windshield has several cracks and needs replacing. 3) The muffler internals are shot. Doesn't show any rust on the outside, but its noticably louder than it used to be. 4)The AC needs recharging. Just in the last month or so, she said the AC has gotten warm. 5) Speedometer does not work.(Odometer still works normal) Other than the mentioned issues, this H2 is in very good condition. No tears in the interior. Bose stereo and CD works great. Engine and Tranny are in great shape and uses very little oil between oil changes( less than a quart). I have had the oil/filter changed every 3-4k miles every since we had it. Probably 2/3 of the mileage is highway. There are a few rock chips and one small dent on the passenger side (see picture). Paint is still in very nice condition and no signs of clear coat fading. Anyway, according to NADA, the H2 still books for around 17k, even with the mileage. I have set my reserve much less than this since it does need some repairs and we do need to sell it. Someone this week told me these items are very important and its rare that all these items are still with the vehicle. I have added pictures of the rear compartment of the H2 where the 3rd row seat fastens( I didn't load a picture of the 3rd row seat but its in perfect condition). The pictures contain the original first aid kit, Hummer flashlight and air pressure tool kit. The original air compressor hose with the basketball needle and others accessories. Also, the tire changing tool kit that I don't think had ever been open. I have more photos that I can email, or I can take more. Feel free to email me at any time. Please keep in mind, that other that a lot of highway miles, this H2 has been well taken care of and has never been off road!! Other than the list of minor problems with the H2, its pretty much like new. She needs to go next week, but my reserve is set at 12k and I will not lower it.
