The affected panels are the hood, roof and trunk lid. I was able to buff out the scratches on a test spot. However to buff the entire car will likely cost around $300. If anyone has entered a bid prior to the time of this update(11:24pm CST, July 24, 2011) I am more than happy to release them from their bid. The current bid is $9600. Any bids after this are binding according to eBay rules. In light of this news I would like to say that the car is beautiful and the paint is in good shape were it not for what appears to be light water stains. That's the best way to describe it. I didn't notice them earlier because it really did take a close inspection of the paint to see them.
