I have a 1984 Corvette that I have had for a couple years. Has been my daily driver for most of the time I have had it. I bought a new motorcycle so I don't drive it as much as I once did and decided to sell it to save on license (expires at the end of July) and insurance. Here is the good and the bad: Good: Only 96xxx miles (I still drive it so that will change), painted black last year (was red), new fuel injectors and fuel pump, new dual exhaust, tires are good (80% tread). New weather stripping all the way around. Bad: Headlights have problems as they work but the headlight motors do not shut off. They will go up and down but it doesn't feel like the motors kick off. I believe the relay has gone bad so for now I have just unplugged the motors (headlights still come on) and crank them up manually. Relays are cheap but haven't had the time to mess with it. Radio doesn't come in, I plug my itouch into a cassette adapter and listen to that. Have never messed with the air conditioner but it doesn't blow cold - appears to be the old R12 system. I always have the targa top off when it is nice out anyway. Just divulging all I know wrong with the car, mostly small stuff that could be fixed with a little time an effort by the owner. This is a 26 year old car but it is good shape and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. Most of the expensive stuff has been done to it, all gauges work and even the cruise control works good. Averages around 18-19 mpg with city/highway driving. Fun car to drive. Yes, the interior is in good shape but the door panels are still red, have not dyed them black yet. As I said, I used this car as a daily driver and never got stranded or had any problems. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere.
