Vehicle Detail

1979 "Wolfsburg Edition" Ford Bronco 4x4:1969 302ci V8 out of a fastback mustang(previous owner said it was a rebuilt/crate engine from Jegs but I can't guarantee that nor guarantee its condition. Engine is not running but close, needs to have leaking carburetor rebuilt),4-speed with granny gear(tired transmission),205 transfer case. The 302ci V8 has many extras:Summit chrome air cleaner,Motorcraft 4-barrel carb,Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, forged pistons,6 quart truck oil pan,"Ford Racing" aluminum valve covers,Pertronix Igniter electronic ignition conversion,MSD Blaster 2 coil and five-blade flex fan with spacer. ***Included with the Bronco is a good running, high mileage late 1970's 460ci V8(no carb)and engine stand it is on. The engine was tipped over while on the stand and it damaged the bottom pulley. Also included is a 1969 C6 automatic transmission off of a 429ci V8 with only 50,000 miles on it. The Bronco has many new or good condition parts:front and rear driveshafts have been totally rebuilt and balanced($400.00),good lockouts, good front axle, good 9" rear axle(bad gasket leak),33" tires(front 75% tread/rear worn out),nice 15" American Racing sawblade type aluminum rims, nice aluminum billet grill(included),nice soft top(two small holes)with support ribs included, good gas tank(filler tube leaks if tank is over filled),good fan shroud, good heavy-duty radiator(three core),nice Lund sunvisor, nice steering wheel, nice sunroof, nice roof carpet and chrome trim, good windshield and door glass, good transfer case(has the normal high mileage minor gasket leaking/4-wheel drive operation works fine),good exhaust pipes, good Dynomax mufflers, good alternator, good starter, good power steering pump(leaks at connection)/gear,good leaf springs and coil springs with a 4" suspension lift, good front four shock setup(rear shocks are tired),nice door panels(included/driver's door window crank assembly is rotted and slips),nice chrome front and rear bumpers,ok battery,ok brakes(brake pedal needs switch/keeps brake lights on until pedal is manually lifted up),new battery hold-down,new battery cables, new thermostat, new heater core and heater hoses, new radiator hoses, new belts, new spark plugs and wires(included),new distributor cap and rotor, new fuel filter and a good pressure plate/clutch disc/throw-out bearing. I was looking for a clean Bronco body to work with but ended up with this one due to a dishonest Ebay seller. It does have potential though and has a very low reserve price. Without totally stripping off the old paint down to bare metal,I can't be 100% sure of the condition of the body. The Bronco came from Pennsylyvania and I soon found out that it had rusted out in areas and had some very poor bodywork done to it. The Bronco's body condition/driver's side:good front fender(it is shaved in the front behind the bumper, has non-filled trim holes),inner fender(aluminum)is partially cut off for engine compartment room, good door except the inside bottom has rusted through, door jam has poor rust repair/filler,good rear quarter except for poor rust repair/filler on bottom front corner where it connects to the door jam and a small area(Duraglass) on the top edge where the topper mounts, there is poor rust repair/Duraglass on the rear quarter's thin metal lip where the interior panel mounts to in the box, good rocker panel, front floor support piece under floor is rusted through and a good rear wheelhouse. The Bronco's body condition/passenger's side:good front fender except a small wheelwell area dent that was roughed out(it is shaved in the front behind the bumper, has non-filled trim holes),good inner fender(aluminum),good door except the inside bottom has minor rust, the door to cowl clearance has a larger gap than normal, door jam has poor rust repair/filler,good rear quarter except for poor rust repair/filler on bottom front corner where it connects to the door jam and rear quarter has paint bubbling/surface rust in a small area near the wheelwell, good rocker panel, front floor support piece under floor is rusted through and a good wheelhouse except for a few small rust holes where it connects to the rear quarter. The Bronco has a good hood(included),cowl panel and firewall. The tailgate is good except for a small area on the bottom outer lip has some paint bubbling/surface rust. The roof has a small area on the passenger's side where there is poor dent repair/filler. The box is good except for a couple of small rust holes on the passenger's side rear and a small area of poor rust repair/riveted-in aluminum patch panel/Duraglass on the driver's side. The floors are original and are metal that is blended in with small areas of poor rust repair/riveted-in aluminum patch panels/Duraglass.
