Vehicle Detail

88 Ford Mustang GT/93 Cobra Clone I always get asked if this car is for sale when I'm driving it around town. Now is your chance. This is one of the sweetest looking Fox body Mustangs around. I spent big money on this car, and now I'm prepared to take a loss. I could use the money, so don't offer any trades please...except maybe an RV or camper trailer of equal value. Info on the car below: This is a custom built car from the ground up. All Cobra ground effects are original Ford OEM parts. The hood is an original Cervini Ram Air and the wing is a Dugan whale tail. Only the best parts available went into this build. Everything is low mileage, rebuilt, or new. The car drives like new. The powertrain is mostly stock. The underside of the car is clean and oil free. Nothing was rigged, hacked, or skimped on. The interior is very fresh. It has very little wear on it. The steering wheel still has it's "grain" on it. Everything works including cold A/C. Anytime a person sits in this car they are amazed how clean it is for a 23 year old car. The chassis is very tight and fresh. The brakes are new. The suspension is lowered using Eibach lowing springs. The ride is a bit stiff, but the car handles like it's on rails. As I said the powertrain is mostly stock, but it passes emissions and is very daily driveable. It gets decent gas mileage (around 15 in town). Nothing has been neglected in this car, in fact every oil and fluid is fresh...even the brake fluid is new. The body is straight. This car has NEVER been wrecked. I'm the 2nd owner, and I spoke to the original owner to verify this. The car was repainted "Vermillion" red code (E8) during the build. There are a few chips and minor scratches since the repaint (about 15 years ago), but that is to be expected for the age. The car has always been garaged. I've owned the car for about 18 years. List of aftermarket parts on the car: Ford Motorsport (FMS) Police Fan Clutch FMS Police power steering oil cooler Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch FMS blue silicone radiator hoses FMS 3.55 gears Flowmaster Cat-Back 2 Chamber exhaust OEM Ford 93 Cobra front and rear bumpers and side ground effects OEM Ford 93 Cobra tail lamp assemblies Dugan Whale Tail Cervini Ram Air Hood ROH 17in wheels (17x8 front) (17x9 rear) Dunlop 225-17 front tires Nitto Drag radial 245-17 rear tires Clear side marker lights Global West Camber/Caster Plates Kenny Brown Subframe connectors (welded) Eibach lowering springs (1.5in) Steeda Rear lower control arms (steel) This history of the car: The car was stolen and stripped of some of it's parts (but NOT wrecked) in the early 90's. It was given a "salvage" title back then. I acquired the car and started building it from the ground up. I have pictures of the car before work was started. I also have documentation of the theft. The miles on the paperwork are "not actual" due to the fact that this is custom built Mustang, and was a theft recovery. Originally I put a very expensive engine in the car and put a blower on it. Since gas prices are so high, I returned it to stock to sell it. It now gets 15 mpg instead of 3 mpg with the blower on it. It's much better to drive around town now too. All the parts put on the car to return to stock are new or low mileage. Please email or call me for exact details on the build of this car. I know this car doesn't have a perfect pedigree in the paperwork department, and you can contact me to discuss if you wish, but this is a fantastic car for the money. I don't think you'll find a better car for under $9k. I know some states allow theft recovered vehicles to be given restored or clean titles. You can check with your state to see about that. If you want to make me a cash offer, feel free, but don't bother with low ball offers. If you have an RV, fifth wheel, or trailer you want to trade, tell me about it. Otherwise NO trades. The car is currently located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Thanks, Dave 505-301-6800
