Because of its cult following this GN is easy to buy and easy to re-sell. This gorgeous 87 Grand National only has 75,857 original miles (that is less than 3,200 miles per year). The engine runs strong without any known issues. There may be a periodic upper engine tick upon startup due to a lifter that will quickly quiet down after a few seconds. I have not found it to be typical of this age car. The turbo spools quickly and smoothly as it should. The transmission shifts smoothly as it should. The paint is a 10-15 footer with various scratches and small dings as expected. The rear passenger side quarter panel shows some older thin bondo (see picture) that has cracked. It truely can be driven and enjoyed in its current shape however to make it a show car a new paint job would be desirable. The interior is in good condition with all its parts in tact and present. There are minor blemishes as expected on a 24 year old car. The t-tops and all the glass is in great shape. It has a current Texas registration and recent inspection. Tie rods or front end bushings would probably be a good thing to tighten up the steering a little. The engine bay is clean and the engine is mostly stock. It does have an aftermarket FPR (fuel pressure regulator). At our dealership we work very hard to accurately describe our vehicles through text descriptions and elaborate photos.
