This Listing is for a very clean 1976 Jeep CJ5 That has a 4 inch suspension lift with a 2 inch body lift. I bought it from a guy I know locally and I have just been working on it slowly but surely trying to get it perfect but I just dont have the facility, time or money to continue with it , so that is the reason it is listed. I bought it with about 30,000 miles on the rebuilt original engine. It has the AMC 5.0 liter V8 engine and runs amazing. Has a great sound with a flow master exhaust and Hedman headers. It had a slight oil leak when I got it and I found it was coming from the rear main seal so I pulled the transmission replaced rear main seal and oil pan gasket as well as the valve cover gaskets so it is leak free. While I was at it I bought and replaced clutch assembly and had the flywheel turned and resurfaced at a local engine shop so all of that has about 2,000 miles on it which I have receipts for. 33 inch BF Goodrich all terrain tires are on it. They are a little dry from age of about 3 years but have great tread depth left on them. It has recently new seats that were there when I bought it and are waterproof. The body is fiberglass and Hood is steel so it has no rust issues and decently clean paint. Frame is in really good shape, I have a bikini top for it and a soft top. Soft top is not too bad and useable bot not great. It has speaker but it didnt have a radio in it and I never had one kicking around to put in it. 4 Wheel drive works great! It has a 3 speed manual transmission. I also just put new spark plugs, Wiper arms and blades on it. Thats all I can think of for right now! It is a 1976 so its not perfect. It has a couple thing that it still needs , but like I said i just dont have any more time or money to do it. These items are: Fuel and temp gauge does not work, has 2 rust spots on corner of window frame(but its the only rust on the entire jeep) .Needs new leaf spring bushings, they are dry rotted and falling apart.
