NO RESERVE, HIGH BIDDER TAKES IT. 1980 Chevy Monza, drag race, pro street. big block chevy, TH400 transmission with brake, 9 inch rear, full tube chassis mild steel.120 wall, 4 link coil over, aluminum interior. This car is a street driven car that I race occasionally. best ET 9.53@141 mph with a 200 shot of nitrous, through the mufflers. 1.31 60 ft. runs 10.60s without nitrous. The engine is a 9-1 compression .030 over 454, balanced, good internal parts, iron rectangle port heads and solid roller cam, Dart intake, proform 950 carb. I run pump gas for the street and switch to 110 race gas for racing and nitrous use. the trans is a turbo 400 with a trans brake and 10 inch converter that stalls at 3800. the rear axle is a 9 inch ford with 35 spline Moser 3rd member, spool, axles and 4.56 gear. paint is brilliant blue metallic. This car is street legal (except current tires are goodyear slicks) with working lights. the body is all steel except for the rear bumper, front bumper and hood. body and paint almost flawless except for a crack on rear of hood where cowl induction is bonded on. front and side door windows are glass, rear hatch and quarter are Lexan. front end, doors, rear bumper and hatch are all removable car weighs 2800 lbs. without driver. Chassis was NHRA certified to 8.50 but expired in 2009. could certify to 7.50. This car hooks hard and goes straight and is a pleasure to drive. way to much to list. over $60,000 invested.
