Hi I'm selling my SUV I'm the 2nd owner vehicle has been in Boone, NC all of its life. For the bad Rust is underneath vehicle due to the salt"n of the roads during the snowy cold winters. One gas tank mounting bracket has rusted out and I have made my own clamp ( by hooking like a hefty duty scrap used to scrap a motorcycle on the back of a pick up truck) No Air Condition just need some AC hoses and lines to hook up to ac condenser,. Anti Lock brakes light on and check engine light on as well took to advance auto parts code is a Fuel Trim/EGR Flow. I have been told that the catalytic converter need to be replaced......I'm not a mechanic. Also the emergency brake cable will need to be replaced advance auto sells a universal cable ????? Also I left my lights on one day and the radio code needs to be reset to get the cd, cassette, radio to operate again. I will call dealership and get the 4 digit code 1st owner did not remember the code but radio, cass, cd player works For the good for it year 1998 low miles just over a little over 136136 miles engine and transmission (shift through all the ears no jerking) strong plenty of power 4wd drive shifts great Low and High gear. Extra leaf springs have been added to the rear from Springs in Johnson City, TN and new rotors, brake pads and calipers on the rear axle. Interior from previous owner is not so good, will need deep cleaning if next buyer care for looks. Me I personally bought this vehicle to get to work during the winter I'm glad I did this later winter was a hard one. All turn signals work horn works sometimes work probably need to be replaced. SUV can be a good 4X4 for winter there is no tow package. If someone can get the check engine light off and ABS light off and a new horn and new exhaust they will have a cheap SUV. I plan to leave before this next winter come I do not want to deal with another one.
