I am RELISTING this car because winning bidder from last week should have cancelled bid, failed to show up to see car or submit payment. WITHOUT RESERVE I am listing my 1996 MITSUBISHI convertible. It still looks FANTASTIC and turns heads. I have not used in much in the past few years since getting a new car and an automatic convertible in the summertime is a wonderful thing to have, you should enjoy it as much as I have. The engine is good and strong, the body is without dents and for the most part even without scratches. There is a crack in the paint on the left rear side, not bad but it is there so I am mentioning it. The top is in good condition but the motor that opens and closes it is not working. I have been opening an closing it by hand easily and would encourage you to do the same. I still even have the original black cover which goes over the retracted roof. The leather seat covering is all original, a few splits, getting seat covers is advised as sitting on hot leather is not comfortable. The electical system should be gone over as one turn signal will not turn off after you turn and the radio and cd player volume needs attention. Seemingly simple stuff for those electronicaly minded. The door lock on the drivers side door is slipping away from the keyhole. It still locks but I have been doing it from the passenger side. I am the original owner, it has always been looked after regularly by the MITSHBISHI MOTORS dealership. I have had a dent or two repaired as they happened over the years but the car has never been in a serious collison or accident. I will be keeping the vanity plates. Buyer is to arrange for pick up in PALM SPRINGS CALIFORNIA. I will be happy to show anyone in the area the car in-person while the auction is in progress.
